A glass (capacity of 250 milliliters), a teaspoon, a tablespoon, a deep saucepan, a stewpan, a deep plate, a deep bowl, a kitchen towel - 2 pieces, a sieve with a fine mesh, an oven, a bread baking dish (size 23 by 12 centimeters, side height 16 centimeters) - 2 pieces, a wooden kitchen spatula, kitchen potholders, a metal kitchen spatula, cutting board - 2 pieces, a kitchen knife, a bread box or a serving plate.
Cooking homemade white bread:
Step 1: prepare milk, sugar, salt and butter.
First of all, pour the right amount of fat homemade milk into a deep saucepan and put this dish on medium heat. After boiling, when the foam settles, add all the salt and a tablespoon of butter to it. Boil the products for one minute, remove from heat and put the mixture in a cool place to cool to room temperature.
Step 2: prepare the dough.
When the milk has cooled slightly, you can start cooking the dough. In a small stewpan, we heat the purified water to 40-45 degrees Celsius, so that you can safely lower your fingers into it, without fear of getting a burn. Then we pour it into a deep plate and pour sugar into it with dry granulated yeast. Shake these ingredients with a tablespoon until smooth and set in a warm place on 12-15, and preferably 20 minutes.
Step 3: prepare and infuse the dough.
As soon as the yeast blooms in a lush hat, we move them into a deep bowl, pour in the already milk-butter mass that has already cooled down and mix the liquid until smooth. Then, using a sieve with a fine mesh, we begin to sift wheat flour there, preferably of the highest, but, in extreme cases, the first grade.
We don’t put everything right away, add it gradually, glass by glass, at the same time kneading the dough with a tablespoon. When this kitchen appliance ceases to help, we continue the process on the countertop, crushing the semi-finished product with clean hands, as a result, it should become denser, not very cool, but at the same time resilient, smooth and non-sticky.
We roll the dough into a ball and send it into a deep bowl, previously greased with a tablespoon of vegetable oil.
Then we cover it with a kitchen towel and put it in a warm place, for example, next to the included stove for 1, and preferably 1.5 hours, although the duration can increase up to 2 hours, it all depends on the temperature and humidity in the kitchen.
Step 4: prepare the oven and baking dish.
When the dough doubles in volume by 1.5-2 times, turn on and preheat the oven up to 190 degrees Celsius. Then we take two heat-resistant or non-stick baking dishes 23 x 12 in size, 16 centimeters high and grease the bottom, as well as the inside of the sides of this dish with a thin layer of butter.
Step 5: form homemade white bread.
Then we crush the tabletop with flour, put the raised dough on it and lightly crush it. Then we knock it into a kolobok, divide it into 2 equal parts with a metal kitchen spatula, roll them into balls, put them under a kitchen towel and leave them alone 10 minutes.
After that, we crumble the pieces of the semi-finished product again, form oblong rolls from them, distribute the resulting products according to the prepared forms, put them in a warm place and allow us to rise twice, this one will leave about one more hour.
Step 6: bake homemade white bread.
After the required time has passed, we check the oven, if it has become very hot, bring the heat to the desired temperature and only after that we put the molds there with a well-swollen test for the average rack. Bake bread for 30-35 minutes, after which we check their readiness with a kitchen skewer. Just in turn, we introduce its end into the middle of the buns and take it out if there are moist pieces of flour semi-finished product on a wooden stick, we stand the products in the oven 5-7 minutesor until baked.
Are the rolls ready? If so, then everything is simple! We pull the kitchen gloves in our hands, move the forms onto the cutting boards previously laid on the countertop, and slightly cool their contents, without removing them, for about 10-15 minutes.
Then, very carefully, using two wooden kitchen shovels, we take out the brown bread from the molds and wrap the pastry in a towel so that there are small slots 5-7 centimeters wide on the sides. Gradually cool the baking at room temperature until warm, then cut it in portions and taste.
Step 7: serve homemade white bread.
Homemade white bread after cooking is cooled. Then spread on a clean cutting board, using a special knife cut into slices 1-1.5 centimeters thick, put them in special dishes and serve for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
