Cooking roast in a slow cooker from chicken:

Step 1: prepare the vegetables.

First of all, pour the right amount of purified water into the kettle and put it on a small fire, let it slowly boil. In the meantime, with a sharp kitchen knife, peel all the vegetables indicated in the recipe, wash them, dry them with paper kitchen towels, put them on a cutting board in turn and continue the preparation. We cut the potatoes with cubes, slices or slices from 2 to 3 centimeters in size, send them into a bowl of cold water and leave them until use so that they do not darken.

Chop onions into cups, straws, half rings or quarters about 1 centimeter wide. We chop the carrots in the same way as the previous ingredient, either in rings or in half rings, although you can just grate it on a medium or large grater.

Step 2: prepare the chicken and other ingredients.

Next, rinse the fresh chicken under streams of cold running water, dry it, move it to a clean cutting board and, using a new knife, rid the meat of the film, cartilage, and also excess fat. Then we divide the fillet into portioned pieces from 3 to 4 centimeters in size, lay out the other ingredients that will be needed to prepare the dish on the countertop, and proceed to the next, almost final step.

Step 3: cook the roast in a slow cooker from chicken.

We insert the plug of the kitchen appliance into the outlet, install the Teflon bowl in it and pour the right amount of vegetable oil into it. Then turn on the mode Stew for 1 hour 20 minutes and after some time we send chicken meat to a slightly heated fat. Fry it for 10 minutes, for which it will change color from bright pink to grayish.

After that, add onion with carrots to the fillet pieces and cook them together 10 minutes, periodically loosening with a wooden or silicone kitchen spatula. Then we put potatoes in the slow cooker, pour vegetables with meat and boiling water from the kettle, season the products with salt, black pepper and a leaf of laurel.

Again, mix everything to a homogeneous consistency, cover the kitchen appliance with a tight-fitting lid and continue to cook the dish in the same mode for the remaining time, i.e. 1 hour. As soon as the miracle technique announces the completion of work with the appropriate sound signal, we are in no hurry to open it, we give the roast an opportunity to insist at least 10-15 minutes. After that, carefully lift the lid, let out the hot steam, use the ladle to distribute the resulting aromatic food on the plates and put it on the table.

Step 4: Serve the roast in a slow cooker with chicken.

Roast in a slow cooker made from chicken is served hot as a full-fledged independent main course for a rich breakfast, lunch or dinner. Serve it in portions in plates, before which, if desired, decorate with dill, parsley, cilantro, basil or green onions with herbs.
