Cooking fried mushrooms with spices in sour cream:

Step 1: Prepare the ingredients.

Prepare the ingredients first, it's very fast. Peel the onion from the husk, cut off the remains of the tip and roots from it, and then just rinse with cold water. Cut the peeled onions into small cubes.

Rinse the mushrooms, brushing off the darkening with a knife and cutting off the earthy part of the legs. Then dry the peeled mushrooms with paper towels, lay them on a cutting board and cut into pieces of any size. I usually divide each mushroom into four or six parts, depending on its size.

Step 2: Fry the onion.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over high heat. pour the onion slices and, reducing the power on the stove, fry it until golden brown, stirring all the time.

Step 3: Fry the champignons.

Pour the mushrooms into the fried onions, add a little heat and wait until the excess moisture evaporates. Keep cooking all over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring all the time and not covering. If you close it, the champignons will turn out to be too watery, in the open pan they become roasted, as it should.

Step 4: Stew the mushrooms in sour cream.

Before adding sour cream, salt the fried mushrooms with onions and add black ground pepper, oregano, cumin and curry seasoning. Stir, then put in the pan the right amount of sour cream, mix again and continue cooking over medium heat for 5-7 minutes, again without closing the lid.

But after that, when the champignons are finally ready, cover the pan with them, remove everything from the heat and insist for another 5 minutes. Firstly, during this time the obsessed frying pan will cool slightly, and secondly, the sour cream sauce will thicken a little.

Step 5: Serve the fried mushrooms with spices in sour cream.

Fried mushrooms with spices in sour cream can be either a side dish for various meat dishes, or an independent dish and, of course, they can be added to spaghetti or any pasta to make a completely amazing and delicious dish. Garnish each serving, if desired, with sprigs of fresh herbs, such as parsley or dill, and use the sour cream that has accumulated at the bottom of the pan as a sauce.
Enjoy your meal!

Recipe Tips:

- Forest mushrooms can be used instead of champignons, only they need to be prepared and cleaned longer and more thoroughly.

- To taste, you can add green onions to this dish. It needs to be cut into small pieces and put to other ingredients for 5-7 minutes until the dishes are ready, that is, immediately after adding sour cream.
